Illinois - Freestyle


Illinois - well ahead of Florida ( I am from Florida) - I believe statistically their high school freestyle has been #1 in the country the past few years.
Per capita - there are some small states that slightly exceed the quality of PA/NJ - Dakota's and Iowa come to mine. But of course, they are smaller states.
Missouri / Ohio /Wisconsin - high level
Maryland high schools produced two world team members this year ( K Synder & Pat Downy)

Also, upper state NY has very high-quality wrestling....
